Bringing the War of 1812 to Life

The Scout Brigade of Fort George is one of the largest annual Scout encampments in Canada. Youth from across Ontario and the northeastern United States gather on the grounds of Fort George to relive the drama of the War of 1812 — marching in period uniforms, drilling as 19th-century soldiers, and taking part in tactical battles across the historic landscape.

Catered Camp

The camp is fully catered — groups and companies do not need to cook full meals.

Live the History

Experience the excitement, challenge, and chaos of 1812-era camp life and battle re-enactments.

Location & Entrance

The entrance to the field is located 147 m (160 yd) east of 210 John Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0.
