About
Who We Are
1st Glen Abbey Oakville has been shaping young leaders through outdoor adventure since 2001. We're more than a Scout Group, we're a community.
One Group
One Group. Five Sections.
One Scouting Journey.
1st Glen Abbey Scout Group serves youth and young adults through five program sections. A child can begin at age 5 and grow through Scouting all the way to young adulthood — the same Group, the same community, one continuous journey along The Canadian Path.

Our Story
Building Leaders
Since 2001
1st Glen Abbey Oakville is part of Scouts Canada — the country's leading youth organization dedicated to developing well-rounded, responsible young people through outdoor adventure and community service.
Our Group serves youth across all five sections: Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers. Every program is built on the "Learning by Doing" philosophy — real skills, real challenges, real growth.
We meet weekly at Abbey Lane Public School and run year-round camps, expeditions, and community events across Oakville and the broader Ontario wilderness.
